Classique Dance excels in the disciplined art of ballet. Influential and foundational, qualified ballet training shapes young dancers into the strongest and most versatile artists they can be.
Classique adheres to the Royal Academy of Dance classical ballet syllabus. As global leaders in continuing professional development (CPD) for dance, the RAD is one of the largest and most instrumental international classical ballet organisations.
We openly encourage our students’ participation in annual examinations and presentation classes offered by the RAD. Graded examinations generally take place mid-July to early August.
All Classique ballet teachers are RAD qualified.
For exam candidates, a minimum of two ballet classes a week is required. Because we believe in all students striving for attainable goals, the decision of entry rests solely with the principal.

Informed by classical, modern and jazz styles, our contemporary classes are strong, dynamic and diverse. Classique explores influential modern techniques, improvisation, lyrical choreography, narrative structure, rhythm and speed to shape smart, mindful dancers.

The history of jazz is rich with varied style. We offer regular modern jazz and jazz funk classes, in addition to special workshops in musical theatre and Broadway variations. As one of our most popular dance forms, classes are exciting, technical and fun.

Constantly evolving in form, hip hop is funky, rhythmic and soulful. Classique offers junior, senior and boy’s hip hop classes, teaching both street and commercial styles.

Classique’s tap classes emphasise technique, rhythm and musicality. We offer education in the Glenn Wood tap syllabus, as well as slow, waltz and speed tap.
